Nashville almost cost us. Not in the way you’d think. This episode is about the marriage portal, the moment two people who love each other are asked to change together, not just separately. It’s about the old shame of wanting transformation and claiming it was worth the cost, and how that same shame showed up again in Italy, this time aimed at us instead of just me. It’s about watching my husband’s anxiety peak on the other side of that door, and realizing my job was never to fix it. It was to walk with him through it.
